Wisconsin born and raised, I live in Madison with my lovely fiancé, Cece, and our family of misfit critters and I treat every day as a new adventure!

I’ve been an animal lover and advocate since a very young age thanks to my father. A math teacher with an inability to sit still, my father took up sled-dog racing and farming as a hobbies when I was very young and, to this day, cares for and trains a kennel of 20+ dogs and races regularly. I learned to help care for the dogs and the other animals that he took in, including chickens, cows, and horses.

A few decades later and my environment looks a little different, but the values given to me by my parents have only grown stronger. Aside for a love for animals, they instilled in me a desire to work hard, appreciate what I have, and lift up those around me. A family, organization, or society all work better when we encourage each other to be the best versions of ourselves!
